I heard of a sim, Mount Pinatubo, that has been opened to the public for a short period. I am not sure what the start and end dates of this period are but knew I had to check it out. One of my better investments of time if I do say so myself.
“Cherishville”, owned by Lam Erin and Azaria, is gorgeous and I am very happy I took the time to visit it. When you first land you find yourself in a subway station. Find the exit and a winter wonderland awaits you. This build is done very well and you truly get the feel of being in a small town on the river. The snow is falling softly, the train is pulling in, and the residents are getting ready for the Christmas holiday. It brought back memories of my childhood. Kudos to them for this sim and, especially, for sharing it with the rest of us. It is truly a special place as the name implies.
I hope you enjoy the pictures and I have included the SLURL at the bottom of this post to aid you in finding the subway station yourself. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Thank you to both of them again for sharing.

The Mill is always beautiful regardless of the season and is one of the “must visit” builds in Second Life. I love going there, exploring, and snapping pictures. It never ceases to delight me and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something gorgeous to explore.
I enjoy exploring sims and creating my own. I took some time to sit at The Mill and do some thinking. It is really easy to put parts and pieces together to make something pretty but it takes effort, inspiration, and a love for what you are doing to make something really beautiful. As I visit sims, I can tell those that have that passion, as it were, and those that just put things together. For the most part, I tend to highlight those that have that passion and I do make an effort to revisit those that strike me in this manner.
Nothing truly special just happens, it takes work. As you look at the pictures, I know you will see the work that went into this particular sim design. As you go through your day, think about the items that could be that much better if the same passion was applied to it. Nothing is beautiful by default but, with the proper care and nurturing, everything has the potential to blossom into something incredible and, at times, breath-taking.
I am starting to ramble. I do hope you enjoy the pictures and take the opportunity to visit this wonderful build. I have included the SLURL at the bottom of this post to make it easier to get to.

My travels have been a bit exhausting of late so thought I would look for somewhere to relax a bit…..a resort would do nicely, wouldn’t you think? Well, I was right and wrong at the same time LOL. [Inspired] Winter Resort is a beautiful build and would be very relaxing for most but I could not resist the urge to shoot pictures while there. Okay, in all fairness, I do find that relaxing 🙂
Arriving at sunset with Sofia accompanying me, all bundled up for the chill in the air, we set out on exploring this beautiful resort. I caught a shot of her resting on a bench next to another fox that seemed very interested in her. I will have to keep an eye on that creature LOL.
I grabbed a few nice shot before darkness fell and then returned again to get the details of the sim and stumbled across Raizan Field-Dereham (raizan.field), one of the co-owners of the sim. The other owners, Yosh Shi Juan (macximuss.zsun) and ḋυсќïε ρøρṡ (candyharlequin), were not there but need to be mentioned as this build in truly special and appears to be a true labor of love.
I, as I am known to do, grabbed a couple candid shots of Raizan on the sim and asked her about it. I asked her specifically if there was anything she wanted me to share and she said, “Please visit. The sim [ as I’m sure every sim ] was built on synergy but fundamentally a lot of love for the sim and each other.” She is a very delightful and pleasant person and I was happy I got a chance to chat briefly.
You need to visit this sim. It is very well done and keeps you in the spirit of the season. Kudos to all three of them.
I hope you enjoy the pictures and I have included the SLURL at the bottom of the post for you.

It is that time of year again when a blanket of white covers the far north and gives everything a clean and crisp appearance. When the sun shines down on the snow, it is really a brilliant and beautiful sight to behold.
When I heard that Deciduous had a fresh coat of powder, I had to go and see for myself. It is such a beautiful sim and winter has proven to be just as beautiful as the other seasons. I highly recommend it for a visit, a stroll, and, of course, some pictures. Be sure and check it out while it is still covered in white.
I have attached the pictures from my visit as well as the SLURL at the bottom of the post. Always happy to help others find their way to a sim 🙂
