Amazingly, this is my 300th post!! Where has the time gone? What started as just a whim has turned into a therapeutic activity of sorts for me and I thank you for letting me share my random finds and thoughts with you over the past 2 years or so. I also want to thank my partner, Sofia, for encouraging me to start down this path back then.
This brings me to the latest adventure, the “It’s a New Dawn” build located on the “Lemon Beach” sim. The land description reads, “The dawn has come…. And the wine will run…. And the song must be sung…. And the flowers are melting….
In the sun.” For those familiar with Kate Bush, you will remember these words as the opening lyrics to her song, “Aerial” which is to the ears what this sim is to the eyes – beautiful. With sounds turned on while visiting this sim, you are in for a totally immersive experience into the tranquility that is represented. A very peaceful and enjoyable visit with plenty of picture opportunities to be had.
Second Life is truly amazing to me. The creativity that is present in game never ceases to impress me. I have enjoyed every post to date that I have made, some during happy times, some during turbulent times. This journey has been as much about celebration as it has been about healing. It is an outlet for my emotions as well as a showcase for beauty (hopefully portrayed as such with my attempt at photography.)
I appreciate all the comments I have received during this endeavor and also the recommendations for sims to shoot but, most of all, I appreciate each and every one of you. It just amazes me that others enjoy what I started as an outlet for myself.
I do hope, as always, that you enjoy the pictures and take time to visit this sim. Make sure you let the sim owner know that you appreciate the sims that you like and spread the word about them as well. To help you with this effort I have included the SLURL at the bottom of this post. I look forward to what the next post may hold (not committing to another 300 at this point LOL).

Having a little bit of free time today, I decided I to head out and find something to spark my imagination. Every now and then, everyone needs a little magic….something to believe in and that search took me to this lovely build located on the Morning Glow sim.
The land description reads, “Feel the magic all around, in the magical unicorn forest, the enchanted woods or the princess tower. Explore every little corner to see all the secret romantic and magical spots.”
This sim hit the spot. It is fun, whimsical, and beautiful and did spark my imagination. I remember watching a video on YouTube a while back about the “The Universal Hot vs. Crazy Matrix – A Man’s Guide to Women” (included at the bottom for your entertainment) and got all excited about the possibility of finding a unicorn 🙂
Seriously though, this sim is delightful and a perfect diversion from the normal day-to-day activities in Second Life. I highly recommend it for the relaxation and photographic opportunities that it offers.
As always, I hope you enjoy the pictures and the SLURL is located after the pictures in this post.
Sofia brought this sim to my attention after seeing it somewhere and we decided to pay it a visit. Let me start by stating that this is a BDSM Adult sim and a very beautiful one at that. I am happy to report that we did not get bothered in the manner that you might at other Adult BDSM sims (which was refreshing) and were able to enjoy looking around and taking pictures without harassment of any sort. The build itself is breathtaking and any toys and tools for the fetish have been incorporated tastefully into the layout of the place very well. If you seek a beautiful place for some breathtaking photos, I highly recommend this sim and, if you are so inclined or just curious, there appears to be more than just photos there to enjoy 🙂
I hope you enjoy the pictures and I have included the SLURL at the bottom of this post should you feel inclined to visit the sim.
I paid a visit to the Stony Hill Vineyard located on the Stony Hill sim and took some photographs while there, of course. The land description reads, “A scenic sim build by Ezra Locke. Come explore this little patch of Second Life’s wine country. Spanish and Italian influences with a little hodgepodge.”
The sim is very lovely but what really struck me was the attention to detail in the decorating of the buildings. It is apparent that a lot of thought and care went into this build and you should really pay it a visit. It has caught the eye of many already and I managed to capture a snap of the lovely Genny in a picture during one of her visits.
The build reminds me of Galicia with its lush green valleys and proximity to the coastline. Home to zestier white wines, the cuisine of the area naturally includes a lot of fresh fish to go with the wines. The beauty of Second Life is the ability to visit locations such as this virtually. I love exploring and shooting beautiful sims and will do it as time allows. I find myself distracted by different things now and again but, like everyone else, I eventually return to what brings me the most pleasure in SL.
I do hope you enjoy the pictures. I have included the SLURL at the bottom of this post so that you can find it easily yourself.
